John E. Carlson

Mr. Carlson is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He received a B.S.E., Electrical Engineering degree, cum laude, from the University of Michigan, concentrating his technical studies in the design of microprocessors and computers, and a J.D. degree, cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School. Mr. Carlson prepares and prosecutes patents in the U.S. and foreign patent offices in a variety of technologies and specializes in the preparation and prosecution of electrical, computer software, mathematical algorithm and other computer-related patents. Mr. Carlson also litigates complex patent infringement and other intellectual property matters. He is a member of Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
