Kerrie A. Laba

Ms. Laba was employed as an engineer at Rockwell International-Automotive Division from 1992 to 1995 where she had application experience with planetary axles, drive and non-drive axles, brakes and transfer cases. Ms. Laba received a B.S.E., Mechanical Engineering degree, cum laude, from the University of Michigan in 1992 and a J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School in 1997. She received several honors and was a Note and Comment Editor for the Wayne Law Review. Her note, "Have Trade Dress Infringement Claims Gone Too Far Under the Lanham Act?" was awarded publication in the Wayne Law Review, Spring 1996 issue. Ms. Laba is a member of the State Bar of Michigan. She is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Ms. Laba prepares and prosecutes patents in the U.S. and foreign patent offices in a variety of technologies.
