Theodore W. Olds, III

Mr. Olds was admitted to the Michigan bar in 1988 and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He received a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University in 1982 and a J.D. degree, with honors, in 1988 from George Washington University, Washington D.C. Mr. Olds was a patent examiner with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for five years primarily in the areas of motors and electrical controls for pumps and compressors. Part of Mr. Olds' practice includes testifying as an expert witness on patent issues in patent litigation and product liability cases. He has litigated patent issues in courts across the country. He focuses on assisting manufacturing corporations in building intellectual property portfolios and in evaluating competitive positions.
